Asian Academy of Film And Television has become and declared the first film, television and media institute in the World to launch its 100^th Session of film, television and media training with the opening of 100^th session today.

“I am feeling important to be the part of World history of cinema when 100^th session of AAFT is being inaugurated in the presence of more than 500 media aspirants. This date will go into the history of    cinema,” said Sanjay Kapoor renowned film and television personality at the inauguration of 100^th batch of AAFT at Noida Film City.

  

“We all have to work hard and   have to be truthful to our profession to succeed in this line. No halfhearted involvement can get you success. We all have Sandeep Marwah as the case study right in front of us. His advice will get you things on easy terms,” added Sanjay Kapoor addressing to large audience.

~ The cookbook maestro’s daughter launched her First Cook Book – Modern Vegetarian Recipies ~

Mumbai, August, 2018:The culinary world needs no introduction to the celebrated cookbook author, TV host and renowned chef – the late Tarla Dalal. Thus it holds little surprise when her gifted daughter launched her first cookbook – Modern Vegetarian Recipies on the birth anniversary of her beloved mother at Crosswords bookstore at Kemps Corner, Mumbai.

The cookbook has various modern vegetarian recipes which are inventive, simple and easy to follow.  These recipes blend a perfect fusion of eastern and western style of cooking have been authored keeping in mind the diverse age group – children and adults, both young and old.

The book is divided into five sections, namely, starters, salads, main course, desserts and basic recipes. While some of the starters could be used as a main course or as a wholesome midday snack, the salad options are simply easy to make and cover a wide spectrum of ingredients. Several of the main dishes represent global cuisines, though with locally available ingredients. In the dessert section, the ice creams are visually appealing and delicious to taste!

The book originated as a result of the Tarla Dalal’s demise which led to a huge vacuum in the lives of her children. Thus as a gratitude to her beloved mother, Renu penned various recipes after experimenting with them in her own kitchen. Her extensive travels have also helped fuel her passion for creating vegetarian options for the modern palate.

Speaking at the launch Renu Dalal, shared, “I am very excited to launch my first cookbook. I took my first cooking class  during my growing up years . My parents loved hosting friends and family over and we used to follow the tradition of not repeating the same menus. Trying out new and innovative dishes have been a tradition in our family and its indeed a great moment for me to have penned some of the tastiest, healthy,  quick and easy to prepare recipes, which I’m sure all will enjoy.”

The launch was attended by some of her close friends and family members. The event also witnessed some patrons swearing by some of the recipes like panner wraps, baked peach yogurt, couscous and lentil salad and asparagus mousse and praising Renu’s delightful recipes.

To give the dignity to the elders, all elders were invited by providing them a comfortable to and fro travel, they were welcomed by giving them traditional musical theme. Easy digestive food with breakfast and tea was catered in the event. Volunteers support throughout the day.

At the end of the event, all the participants very much enjoyed the program and forget their depressions and loneliness for a day, this will help them to create motivational atmosphere to live life positively.   The chief guest of this programme was the chairman of Rizwan Adatia Foundation, Mr Rizwan Adatia.He enlighted flowers of happiness in the programme. He motivated the people through his speech.

During the event, yoga day celebration was clubbed and planned yoga session with all seniors.

This is third time in a row that they have been donating to the association through their KPJ Charitable Trust.

I appeal that more people from our industry come forward and generously support our workers and technicians. If we are not around; our trust will be donating this amount every year. Our property and jewellery will be liquefied (converted into cash) and put in fixed deposit accounts. The interest accrued thereon will be made provisions for various donations. Every year Rs. 5 lakh will be donated to Prime Ministers’ fund. Some amount too will also be earmarked for Maharashtra Chief Ministers’ welfare fund. The trust will also help individual cine workers to the tune of Rs. 10,000 to 20,000 also.”
