For instance, the recent Taj Mahal inspired office built by Microsoft in Noida has set the precedence for this very ideology.

Contemporising materiality that is rooted in tradition.

An amalgamation of brass and black mirror details to exuberate regality and monumentality.

Tower 11 is an amalgamation of symbolic as well as physical derivations of regional architecture that are contemporised for functional efficiency and maximum performance. For instance, the form of the building is inspired by the volumetric characteristics of the India Gate. The two-building volumes have been articulated as two distinct elements united by a core and a striking façade in the central axis. The facade recreates a contemporary adaptation of the triumphant arch of the India Gate, that embraces with regality and through its form recreates the opulent yet welcoming aesthetic. On the one hand, detailed in dark glass panels and brass, the facade with its regal tonality recreates a sturdiness like the carved stones of India Gate as the rays of the sun reflect off it. On the other hand, the high-performance facade maximises pleasant daylight ingress with minimal heat gain and glare control to create comfortable indoor environments.

Though the tower acts as a climax to the axial Candor campus, it also marks the entry into an elegant yet opulent built environment. Inspired by the Taj Mahal’s ethos, the entrance lobby is a three-storied volume, with white marble walls that offer monumentality and grandeur to every visitor. Well-Designed and optimised, expansive floor plates with minimised space wastage create seamless, functional, and efficient spaces. The frequent use of marble to create textured walls along with recessed light fitting details make the interiors a contemporary manifestation of the Taj Mahal, while creating a clean and spotless interior finish.

The building design focuses on crafting experiences and maximum efficiency, with expansive green landscapes, a workspace that creates an experience like no other. Describing the same, architect Ricardo Bofill, Principal Chief Architect for Tower 11, shares, “Orientation through the building is always straightforward with no dark corners, no notches and no wasted corridors. The office space is well lit naturally, with great views. The ground floor is a mix of marble lobbies in elegant white shades and overlooks a black mirror reflective water feature, with a lush garden all around. This creates a freshly-ventilated interior space with a perspective towards the campus, providing a place-making experience rarely seen before in an office building.”

We wanted to imbibe the quality of placemaking that historical public buildings offer, and therefore, the campus planning draws inspiration and learning from ancient planning techniques of the iconic Taj Mahal”, shares Alok Aggarwal, Managing Director and CEO, Brookfield Properties. Amalgamating tradition with modernity, with Tower 11 as the central focus, the axial planning adds monumentality and regality. The black glass reflection water body located in the foreground surrounded by lush greens modernises the ancient planning and cooling techniques while employing placemaking tools to generate a stimulating environment. The focus on linearity in shared spaces creates a sense of cohesive continuity with segregated vehicular and pedestrian circulation to define public areas. The water body also becomes the central pause point, cushioned by the surrounding landscape, and housed within the pedestrian thoroughfare.

The campus is equipped with amenities, ranging from curated retail, fitness centres, food courts and food outlets, coffee shops, banking facilities, creche facilities, all of which are distributed within the 30,000 sq. ft. amenities block. The design focus for the public areas is not to landscape or hardscape, but people-scape to curate experiences that stimulate and excite the end-user. “Under the shadows of the frangipani trees and transported by the fragrance of tropical flowers, we are hoping to create a new place, a new destination for each end-user to write his or her own story”, shares Ricardo. The ecology focuses on pedestrian mobility, the air, and the sounds that create a built environment that can inspire the end-user and open the mind to a depth of experiences.

An amalgamation of brass and black mirror details to exuberate regality and monumentality.

Tower 11 is an amalgamation of symbolic as well as physical derivations of regional architecture that are contemporised for functional efficiency and maximum performance. For instance, the form of the building is inspired by the volumetric characteristics of the India Gate. The two-building volumes have been articulated as two distinct elements united by a core and a striking façade in the central axis. The facade recreates a contemporary adaptation of the triumphant arch of the India Gate, that embraces with regality and through its form recreates the opulent yet welcoming aesthetic. On the one hand, detailed in dark glass panels and brass, the facade with its regal tonality recreates a sturdiness like the carved stones of India Gate as the rays of the sun reflect off it. On the other hand, the high-performance facade maximises pleasant daylight ingress with minimal heat gain and glare control to create comfortable indoor environments.

Though the tower acts as a climax to the axial Candor campus, it also marks the entry into an elegant yet opulent built environment. Inspired by the Taj Mahal’s ethos, the entrance lobby is a three-storied volume, with white marble walls that offer monumentality and grandeur to every visitor. Well-Designed and optimised, expansive floor plates with minimised space wastage create seamless, functional, and efficient spaces. The frequent use of marble to create textured walls along with recessed light fitting details make the interiors a contemporary manifestation of the Taj Mahal, while creating a clean and spotless interior finish.

The building design focuses on crafting experiences and maximum efficiency, with expansive green landscapes, a workspace that creates an experience like no other. Describing the same, architect Ricardo Bofill, Principal Chief Architect for Tower 11, shares, “Orientation through the building is always straightforward with no dark corners, no notches and no wasted corridors. The office space is well lit naturally, with great views. The ground floor is a mix of marble lobbies in elegant white shades and overlooks a black mirror reflective water feature, with a lush garden all around. This creates a freshly-ventilated interior space with a perspective towards the campus, providing a place-making experience rarely seen before in an office building.”

We wanted to imbibe the quality of placemaking that historical public buildings offer, and therefore, the campus planning draws inspiration and learning from ancient planning techniques of the iconic Taj Mahal”, shares Alok Aggarwal, Managing Director and CEO, Brookfield Properties. Amalgamating tradition with modernity, with Tower 11 as the central focus, the axial planning adds monumentality and regality. The black glass reflection water body located in the foreground surrounded by lush greens modernises the ancient planning and cooling techniques while employing placemaking tools to generate a stimulating environment. The focus on linearity in shared spaces creates a sense of cohesive continuity with segregated vehicular and pedestrian circulation to define public areas. The water body also becomes the central pause point, cushioned by the surrounding landscape, and housed within the pedestrian thoroughfare.

The campus is equipped with amenities, ranging from curated retail, fitness centres, food courts and food outlets, coffee shops, banking facilities, creche facilities, all of which are distributed within the 30,000 sq. ft. amenities block. The design focus for the public areas is not to landscape or hardscape, but people-scape to curate experiences that stimulate and excite the end-user. “Under the shadows of the frangipani trees and transported by the fragrance of tropical flowers, we are hoping to create a new place, a new destination for each end-user to write his or her own story”, shares Ricardo. The ecology focuses on pedestrian mobility, the air, and the sounds that create a built environment that can inspire the end-user and open the mind to a depth of experiences.

The campus offering   4.5 M Sf of leasable area is designed with modern sensibilities to remain committed to the health and environment of the building occupants and the communities within which it operates, generating a larger positive impact. Drawing from most historical architecture that is environment-friendly, the campus is ecologically conscious with new-age technology and historical planning techniques to create a microclimate. With distributed green landscapes, waste management systems, water management and recycling, energy efficiency, reduced use of fossil fuels, health and well-being of its occupants and more, the building has been awarded a Platinum rating by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). Jaideep Kumar has over 20 years of experience in Business Development and Sales having worked in the Cloud & SaaS space with market leaders like Salesforce, AWS, Microsoft and Red Hat. His recent endeavour SaaSfocus, which he Co-founded reached the pole position in the SaaS Consulting space. He successfully sold SaasFocus to Cognizant. Jaideep’s breadth of sales and marketing experience in the technology domain will play a crucial role in Knowlarity’s penetration of new domestic and overseas markets.

Puru Govind has over fourteen years of experience in Fortune 500 companies, near unicorns and early-stage startups. Before Knowlarity, he was the Group CTO/CEO-India at B2X Care Solutions and worked for almost a decade at SAP in Germany. As CTO at B2X Care Solutions, he was in-charge of evolving B2X’s products and technology that connected a global digital consumer care ecosystem across over 140 countries. He also managed B2X’s India operations helping customers like Google, Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, and Saregama manage 1100 employees, 38 own stores, 120 partner stores, one service factory and two warehouses.

At SAP, he was the CEO of a business unit that developed software for top retailers and FMCG companies including Walmart, Burberry, Nike, Adidas, Nestle, and Unilever. Puru had also worked as the National Head of prepay marketing at Tata Teleservices before which he was head of marketing for Tata Teleservices’ Karnataka circle.

Rannvijay is passionately following his ‘culinary dream’ of setting up a series of International chain ‘Doner & Gyros’ outlets across India. ‘Doner & Gyros’ offers scrumptious sandwiches made in Chicago and Berlin style.

Rannvijay, Prateek Sachdev and Vikram Singh Zeeshan all are partners in the Indian Master Franchise, 4 TPS – bringing ‘Doner & Gyros’ to India. As part of an ambitious plan, Rannvijay, who also is a Punjabi has decided to come to his roots, to unveil an outlet of ‘Doner & Gyro’s’ at the food court in Elante Mall, Chandigarh. “Doner & Gyros” is a casual fast-food restaurant.

Rannvijay created quite a stir among fans who were excited to see him interacting with media at a well-appointed area in Elante Mall’s spacious food court, to announce details about his new venture as a business entrepreneur. He was accompanied by Prateek Sachdev and Vikram Singh Zeeshan both dynamic & young hospitality industry magnates.

   

Going Back in time in the 70’s, Doner (meat wrapped in bread) was a very popular street food of Berlin; in simple terms Doner is made using seasoned meat stacked in the shape of an inverted cone and turned slowly on a rotisserie or rotating spit, while Chicago Gyro (originally Greek) which is meat cooked on a vertical and then put in baked bread, was first served in the US in 1965. These traditional foods are made at ‘Doner & Gyros’ by expert chefs.

Rannvijay said, “I recall my earlier days, when I went to the U.S for work I had observed tremendous craze for ‘Doner & Gyros’ among residents, especially the youth. From those days I always dreamt of bringing ‘Doner & Gyros’ to India. My objective is now being fulfilled through 4 TPS. The USP of the menu in India is that we have tweaked an otherwise mainly non-vegetarian offering to add an array of delightful and tasty vegetarian recipes. This has been done keeping in mind the Indian food aficionados tastes and preferences which also include vegetarian.”

Speaking on the occasion, Prateek Sachdev said, “The main reason behind the international success of ‘Doner & Gyros’ is because the food is healthy, hygienic and of course lip-smacking. What’s more it is very much affordable too. The idea is to use high-quality ingredients & create that authentic & delicious taste in every bite.”

Vikram Singh Zeeshan said,” ‘Doner & Gyros’ brings authentic street food from Berlin and Chicago. Some of the signature dishes are the Classic Berlin Doner, Classic Chicago Doner, Paneer Platter, Falafel Platter, Veggie Fingers, Veggie Pocket Doner, and many more delicious varieties.  Thick shakes on the menu are a must-try.”

Prateek Sachdev added, “With the Chandigarh outlet we now have 25 stores of ‘Doner & Gyros’ in India over and over a span of just the next six months, we are looking at expanding our network to cover more of the country. In the longer run we are planning to open 150-200 outlets in India over the next 5 years with an infusion of Rs 200 crores.”

It is noteworthy that ‘Doner & Gyros’ has also marked its presence in Palm Jumeria Nakheel Mall which is an iconic Mall of the world. The brand currently has 44 outlets in UAE, Lebanon, UK & Saudi Arabia.
