‘sending wilful defaulters  behind the bars is the only solution!’

Well-known comedian Raju Shrivastav has appealed to the government to make the Board of Directors of various banks pro-active in such a way that they can prevent frauds and scandals on one hand and on the other hand ensure that genuine people get loans on time without any hurdle or problem created by the banks in the sake of documentation.

Raju Shrivastav released the book “Bank of Polampur” (available in both Hindi and English) authored by Ved Mathur, former General Manager of Punjab National Bank, in Andheri today.Raju Shrivastav expressed his regret that despite several serious efforts of the government, the common man continues to find difficulties in obtaining loans for self-employment, education and housing, but at the same time  defaulters enjoy their life full of all luxuries.

If the amount of money looted after independence from various banks was to be used for welfare purposes, then every farmer could have got free manure, electricity and water and every citizen could have availed free education and healthcare. Ved Mathur, the author of the Bank of Polampur noted that political interference, ineffective board of directors and poor judicial system are responsible for the loot of trillions of rupees of banks.

Lawsuits of bank loans in Western countries are decided within a few days, whereas in India no effective action is taken for 5 to 15 years. This gives advantage to the financial defaulters like Vijay Malaya, who are able to abscond the country and use public money for their high life.

The author feels that if the government makes effective forensic audit for the sinking debt above 20 crore rupees and tries the defaulters in fast track courts, only then there can be a positive change in our economy.

“To stat with We have already planned a scholarship for the deserving student from Panama for three months course in film making at AAFT, which will be handed over to Embassy in due course of time,” added Marwah.

“Joining hands with ICMEI is the best part of the year ending 2018. We are sure we will start with   ample activities in the coming year,” said Fauzia Bakshi the coordinator of Embassy of Panama in India.

Noida: A powerful national level meet of writers took place at Asian Academy of Film And Television organized by   International Chamber of Media And Entertainment Industry at Marwah Studios Film City Noida.

 Many writers from all over India representing their fraternity discussed and came to the conclusion that an active and a central body     need to be created to look into the interest of writers. More than fifty writers who were present on the writers meet have together formed writer’s Association of India.

 “I am obelized to be the President of this beautiful organization where writers from all over India can join without any charge. The membership is open and available to any young and old writer,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah President of Asian Education Group.

 “We will be organizing workshops, seminars, interaction programs, talks, book releases, book readings, Festivals and if possible will also promote publishing of books,” added Dr. Marwah in his speech.

 “We will also provide platform to writers to express themselves with a special program on Radio Noida 107.4FM and MSTV and a newspaper Country And Politics on weekly basis,” said Dr. Sandeep Marwah enthusiastically.

 Sushil Bharti has been nominated, as the Secretary to the organization and Viney Kumar, Rajiv Mathur, Haripriya Thakur, Sheerya Katyal, Sheenu Dhamija and Guneet Singh from Marwah Studios will support the cause of writing.

In a spectacular show, ten beautiful teens enthralled the audience as they competed for the most coveted title ‘Miss Teen Universe India 2019’ at Marwah Studios, Noida Film City. In a contest that lasted three-hours, this year’s Miss Teen Universe India pageant had it all – from being beautiful to have an exceptional blend of mind – and the crown went to Miss Apurva Thakur. 

“It is a great pleasure to see young Indian girls representing India on such a prestigious platform. We are no less than any other country when it comes to competition in fashion, design and modeling. Indian girls have proved that beauty and brains go together,” said renowned media personality Sandeep Marwah the President of Marwah Studios as chief Guest while inaugurating the show.

Apurva hails from Mumbai and is currently pursuing Bachelor of Architecture from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. 19-year-old Apurva has now advanced to the next level of the competition and will be representing India in Panama for the most sought-after title of Miss Teen Universe 2019.  “I can’t explain in words how happy and proud I feel at the moment. Winning this pageant will be one of my biggest achievement in life. I thank the jury for choosing me for the big stage. I am very excited about representing India at the global stage,” said an elated Apurva.  

The runners-up include Palak Kohli and Chavi Mehal from Delhi. 19-year-old Palak emerged as the first runner-up.  The experience from this stage will definitely help me get better in future,” said Palak.  “First of all, I would like to congratulate Apurva for winning tonight.,” said Chavi , second runner up Miss Teen India, 2019, I also want to thank National Director of Teen Universe Jasmeet kaur  for this whole show and Shristi Kaur (Teen Universe for 2017)

Titled Dagdi Chawl 2, the film will be produced by Sangeeta Ahir. While the film will once again be directed by Chandrakant Kanse, the details about the story and cast are still under the wraps. However, an interesting addition to the team has come in the form of Yogita Gawli, the daughter of Arun Gawli aka Daddy, who has come on board as the co-producer of the film.

The film will release next year and promises to have something excellent in store for the viewers.
