Mrs Shikha Mehta Khan was crowned as ‘Mrs India Global Divine’, 2021 at a star studded event at Andheri, Mumbai, on 25 Jul. The pageant saw a host of celebs from cinema, television and fashion industry in attendance. The full capacity event was organized at a prestigious club of Mumbai. Shikha, wife of an army colonel, proved to be a perfect combination of beauty with brains.
She appeared confident & flawless while answering in the final and important Q&A round for the crown. On being asked as to which Indian personality she would prefer to showcase to the world and why? She replied “I would most definately choose Mahtma Gandhi as one of the greatest indian personalities to have walked the earth, as he was the one, who taught the world the ideals of non violance tolerance & truthfulness even while facing adversities from britishers” Shikha was also the winner of ‘Mrs Most Glamorous’ title from amongst the various sub titles given to the participants during the course of beauty pageant. Hailing from Haryana, Shikha is a professional celebrity makeup artist and groomer having done her makeup artist and grooming course from the famous Chiraag Bhamboot Academy. She says that she chose to participate in the event at the eleventh hour as initially she had plans to join the event as makeup artist and groomer. It was only after insistence from family and friend that she decided to enter the contest as participant. Shikha describes herself as a happy go lucky person full of positivity and tremendous zest for life. She has an outlook of a contemporary modern indian women with traditional values firmly entrenched in her. Her tagline says, that “Every face is beautiful you only need to evolve”. She says that army life has taught her many things ranging from survival in toughest conditions to experiencing a life extraordinaire’.
Strikingly quintessential, in addition to being a makeup artist she also has a flair for designing clothes and accessories and believes that visibly ordinary looking faces can be redefined with right makeup & right clothes to appear great.
Currently, based in Mumbai and working as a freelance, she has plans to establish her own grooming & styling academy very soon. Being a theatre actor and IT professional in Bangalore, I shifted to Mumbai and the city has been really kind to me, as I started my journey during lockdown, did few critical acclaimed short films for few OTT players, commercials, web series with Flipkart videos (Sikhya entertainment), episodic TV series with And TV Mauka e Vardaat and now this beautiful webseries with Alt Balaji..,” said Aniruddh gratefully adding, “I made very good friends and also mentors (I have grown up watching their films and shows), truly grateful and thankful who have supported me so far.”
Aniruddh got such a powerful role in Crime and Confessions in the webseries! How’s the josh?
“I believe in destiny and got locked for my role 2 days prior to my webseries shoots.
I had auditioned for the role when i was shooting for a film in Bangalore and it was a dream to work with Sachin Sir and Mona ma’am. They took care of every actor so well! Everything was meticulously planned and aesthetically shot. We wrapped up on-schedule,” told Aniruddh.
“It was also a dream to work with Alt Balaji and I’m extremely grateful to Baljit Singh Chaddha Sir.
What was Aniruddh’s first reaction when he got the offer from a very well-known production house Alt Balaji?
“Well, I didn’t believe initially, as I used to audition for webseries and feature films for major OTT platforms.
When I got locked for Alt Balaji..I took a moment to actually gauge if I heard the news correctly,” said Aniruddh with a smile.
Among his future projects, Aniruddh said that discussions are on for Amazon Prime webseries, and one multilingual feature film with Aha OTT platform et al, shoots to commence on October first week tentatively
So, how does Aniruddh see himself in Bollywood where competition among newcomers is very tough?
“It’s very important to identify your strength and weakness and position yourself accordingly, it is important to think little different and uniquely and keep working on your craft and believe in your talent,” said Aniruddh as a matter of fact.
Aniruddh has his Bollywood idols in Irrfan Khan, Manoj Bajpayee and Nawazuddin Siddique.

पटना : सिर्फ 10 महीने का मासूम बच्चा अयांश एक दुर्लभ बीमारी का शिकार हो गया है। स्पाइनल मस्कुलर स्ट्राफी बीमारी से पीड़ित है। अयांश को बचाने के लिए 16 करोड़ रुपए के इंजेक्शन एक डोज की जरूरत है। यह खबर सुनकर भोजपुरी के सुपर स्टार गुंजन सिंह अयांश से मिलने पहुंचे, आर्थिक मदद किये और लोगों से अपील किया कि जिससे जितना संभव हो बच्चे के इलाज के लिए मदद करे ताकि 16 करोड़ की व्यवस्था हो जाए और उस बालक को वह इंजेक्शन लगाया जा सके, जिससे उस मासूम की जान बच सके।

Dubai: Renowned media person Sandeep Marwah president of Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film City gets included in the World Book of Records London for being founder of Noida Film City-the fastest growing film city in the World.
“It was in December 1986 I submitted the project to UP Government. December 1987 the film city got its clearance from the state capital Lucknow and !988 allotments were made. Government gave us three years’ time to build up the infra structure and to come into production. We were originally six, then twelve and now total sixteen players in film city,” recollected Sandeep Marwah while narrating the story of making of Film City in North India.
“We have gone through tough times. There was no culture of cinema and film production. It has been thirty years we are managing the film city with our own resources and efforts. Today we have created a World Record,” added Sandeep Marwah President of Marwah Studios and founder of Noida Film City.
Now Noida Film City is the fastest growing film city in the World. 100 acre complex 75 outdoors and 25 indoors. There are 16 players and 350 channels are being broadcast from these studios to 162 countries 24 by 7. Around 17000 media professionals are working from here in 3 shifts of eight hours each- is the World Record now. The cascading effect is that around hundred thousand people are earning their bread because of film city.
The Record certificate was presented to Sandeep Marwah on his official visit to Dubai by Dr Jitendra Matlani Vice President World Book of Records in a function at Hotel Oberoi at Business Bay Dubai UAE. The first period film on Chauri Chaura on its centenary year celebration
Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), India: Filmmaker Abhik Bhanu whose last release was Jimmy Sheirgill – Tara Alisha Berry starrer “Gun Pe Done” launched his upcoming Hindi feature film; a real period-historical drama, “1922 Pratikar Chauri Chaura”, the first period film (on Chauri Chaura) being made for the silver screen. Being written and directed by Abhik Bhanu himself, the film is produced bySarayu Vision and co-produced by Anju Khare. The first look of the film was unveiled recently in Gorakhpur.
It may be recalled our Prime Minister Narendra Modi had inaugurated a series of events earlier in February 4, 2021 which is being held throughout the year to mark the centenary year of Chauri Chaura incident, which took place on February 4, 1922. During that time then he had proudly quoted: “What happened in Chauri Chaura 100-years ago was seen as a simple incident of arsoning of a police station and thus not given due place in the pages of history. 1922 Pratikar Chauri Chaura…. Ek Kaand Nahi….Sangram Hai…”
Chauri Chaura is a town near Gorakhpur and Deoria in Uttar Pradesh (U.P). In the year 1922, in British-India and during the non-cooperation movement (a part of the Indian freedom struggle) led byMahatma Gandhi, the protesters set fire to a police station and killed at least 22 policemen in protest of the police firing on large group of demonstrators. 19 arrested freedom fighters were sentenced to death and 14 to imprisonment for life by the British colonial authorities.
Incidentally, filmmaker Abhik Bhanu had made his debut feature film “Sab Kuch Hai Kuch Bhi Nahin”on the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi. Speaking on the occasion the director reveals, “1922 Pratikar Chauri Chaurais the first Hindi feature film ever made on Chauri Chaura incident related 100-years-back. The film is in the memory of the martyrs in this incident. Chauri Chaura incident was a struggle of the common people in their fight for Independence. It is surprising and unfortunate that this event in the freedom struggle have been omitted in the history books by the then Britishers and the Indian government too. My salutations to PM Modi and especially the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath who gave it the deserved importance. The state administration had claimed that till now the history of Chauri Chaura had not been celebrated as it should have been.”

The film will have a grand international release and will be screened at thousands of cinema halls only,” adds Bhanu.

Maharashtra Minister of State for Water Resources, School Education, Labour, Woman and Child Welfare Bacchu Kadu (basically a resident of Akola), Maharashtra Chamber of Commerce Vice President Ravindra Mangave, North India Chamber of Commerce President and actor Sudip Pandey, Vice President Sanjit Thakur, Parvez Khan, “MIND”, Navi Mumbai President Salim Sarang and prominent businessmen from Navi Mumbai graced the occasion and made the meeting successful. On the occasion the Minister of State Bacchubhai Kadu was felicitated by actor Sudip Pandey.

Director-lyricist Ricky Burchell expresses why the choice of The ATG-Leslee Lewis-Omar Gooding fusion fell in place. “The lyrics and the song of the song Entourage relate to what the main character Deshawn (Brandon T Jackson) is going through in the course of the film Trap City. When you become a celebrity, an entourage accompanies you. The music and performances have a very fun and exciting feel, more so as the character in this song is looking forward to some exciting ‘alone’ moments with his girl in the midst of this chaos.”
Composer-music producer The ATG reflects on the mood of the song. “Entourage is a contemporary hip hop/pop song. The song is quite an eclectic array of different musical influences both vocally and production-wise. Despite the deceptive simplicity, the production is actually quite intricate as it continuously evolves. My deliberate choice was to make a club record, yet ensure the song is still rich in musicality. Leslee, Omar and I wanted to ensure an unabashedly fun listening experience.”
Musical genius Leslee Lewis avers that he learns with every song and the Hollywood number was another learning curve. “Tel K Ganesan is totally clued in and is a creative producer in every sense. Director Ricky Burchell’s vision reflects in his communication and lyrics, while composer-music producer The ATG has got the groove and the rap portions effortlessly in place. The brief from the creative trio was as passionate as it was interesting and I felt very excited to be an integral part of Entourage.”
Omar Gooding feels the song is kind of biographical to him as a rap artiste.
“I identify with the song totally because it represents the kind of life that I live. The collaboration with Leslee Lewis is something I enjoyed. Leslee Lewis and the Big O collab will be something the audiences will be looking out for as well!”

To begin at the beginning, Binnis Hotel Cinema (BHC) is a promising production house which is producing a web series of 10 episodes for the prestigious Amazon Prime tentatively titled, “Moh Maya” to be directed by well-known Director Sagar Ballary. The movie is being produced by BHC’s Lalit Paikray (who says having been a co-producer of much in the news movie, Udta Punjab has always given him a great feeling professionally), Raj Anand (formerly of UTV) and Sunil Jain starring the very popular Sourabh Shukla, Raghubir Yadav, Rajesh Sharma and Sadhna Singh, among others.
The essence of the movie is to show how the deep inherent “moh” (desire) of the “maya” (illusion) has deprived us from knowing that it is the yearning of “want” is what divides and the fulfillment of “need” is what unites.
Lalit elaborates how through the point of view of two outcastes “the movie explores the intricacies of Indian villages and how they have always been exploited by the system and people in power.”
This series depicts that even the most cunning and shrewd people can change and listen to their hearts if be in an innocent company and environment. “It’s a humorous take on today’s bizarre world where fight over 4G connection in an Indian village actually solves the age-old caste discrimination,” tells Paikray.
Delving a bit into the story, two conmen accidentally find themselves helping the villagers. They enter a village of heartland India with the intention to loot them but find themselves helping the villagers instead to solve the caste discrimination problem.
“It’s an interesting and moving story which unfolds on its own,” say Anand and Jain with a note of high confidence.
