Famous Tv Show Dilli darling’s runner up Pooja Dua is ready for her new single “Khusiyoon ki Barsaat” sung by Famous Punjabi Singer San J.

Pooja Dua who was the cutest contestant of the show and won many heart and as per the viewer, she was the deserving winner. The song is directed by Arzad Naaz and was produced by film junkies Ashish Singh,Tushita Choudhary and Farman  the core member of team.

After talking to Pooja on this  It was great experience shooting my first commercial video. The best part of the video was the supporting cast was my own family members.

The director Arzad Naaz came home to discuss about my looks and he met my family members and he was so happy after meeting them and decided to cast them as the supporting cast.

San J : I was sitting in my studio one day before Diwali and suddenly it strike my mind I should make some song for family and festival . You ll not believe I made the track in 2 hours and I called Naaz Bhai (Arzad Naaz) and made him listen to the track. He was so happy and said let’s do this.

The song is slated on the Christmas bash with loads of color and happiness.

फेमस टीवी शो दिल्ली डार्लिंग की रनर अप पूजा दुआ अपने नए सिंगल खुसियो की बरसात के लिए तैयार हैं जिसे फेमस पंजाबी सिंगर सैन जे।

पूजा दुआ जो इस शो की सबसे क्यूट कंटेस्टेंट थीं और उन्होंने बहुत से लोगों का दिल जीता और दर्शक के अनुसार वह योग्य विजेता थीं।

इस गीत का निर्देशन अरजद नाज़ ने किया है और फिल्म के निर्माता आशीष सिंह, तुशिता चौधरी और फरमान ने टीम के मुख्य सदस्य का निर्माण किया है।

इस पर पूजा से बात करने के बाद यह मेरा पहला व्यावसायिक वीडियो शूट करने का शानदार अनुभव था।

वीडियो का सबसे अच्छा हिस्सा सहायक कलाकार मेरे अपने परिवार के सदस्य थे।

निर्देशक अरज़ाद नाज़ मेरे लुक के बारे में चर्चा करने के लिए घर आए और उन्होंने मेरे परिवार के सदस्य से मुलाकात की और उनसे मिलने के बाद बहुत खुश हुए और उन्हें सहायक कलाकार के रूप में कास्ट करने का फैसला किया।

सैन जे : मैं दिवाली से एक दिन पहले अपने स्टूडियो में बैठा था और अचानक मेरे दिमाग में यह बात कौंधी कि मुझे परिवार और त्योहार के लिए कुछ गाना बनाना चाहिए। आपको विश्वास नहीं होगा कि मैंने 2 घंटे में ट्रैक बना लिया था और मैंने नाज़ भाई (अरज़ाद नाज़) को फोन किया और उसे ट्रैक को सुनने के लिए बनाया। वह बहुत खुश हुआ और कहा कि चलो यह करते हैं।

गीत क्रिसमस की पूर्व संध्या पर रंग और खुशी के भार के साथ release करने वाला है।

Indian born serial entrepreneur-Hollywood film producer Tel K Ganesan, the driving force behind Kyyba Films, and the producer of Christmas Coupon, Celebrity Crush, Devil’s Night: Dawn of The Nain Rouge and now Trap City, has brought together  singer-composer-performers The ATG, Leslee Lewis and rapper Omar Gooding in an amazing fusion number for his film, Trap City, starring Brandon T Jackson, a musical eyeopener on the abuse of power and how the common man is the real sufferer.
Director-lyricist Ricky Burchell expresses why the choice of The ATG-Leslee Lewis-Omar Gooding fusion fell in place. “The lyrics and the song of the song Entourage relate to what the main character Deshawn (Brandon T Jackson) is going through in the course of the film Trap City. When you become a celebrity, an entourage accompanies you. The music and performances have a very fun and exciting feel, more so as the character in this song is looking forward to some exciting ‘alone’ moments with his girl in the midst of this chaos.”
Composer-music producer The ATG reflects on the mood of the song. “Entourage is a contemporary hip hop/pop song. The song is quite an eclectic array of different musical influences both vocally and production-wise. Despite the deceptive simplicity, the production is actually quite intricate as it continuously evolves. My deliberate choice was to make a club record, yet ensure the song is still rich in musicality. Leslee, Omar and I wanted to ensure an unabashedly fun listening experience.”
Musical genius Leslee Lewis avers that he learns with every song and the Hollywood number was another learning curve. “Tel K Ganesan is totally clued in and is a creative producer in every sense. Director Ricky Burchell’s vision reflects in his communication and lyrics, while composer-music producer  The ATG has got the groove and the rap portions effortlessly in place. The brief from the creative trio was as passionate as it was interesting and I felt very excited to be an integral part of Entourage.”

Omar Gooding feels the song is kind of biographical to him as a rap artiste.
“I identify with the song totally because it represents the kind of life that I live. The collaboration with Leslee Lewis is something I enjoyed. Leslee Lewis and the Big O collab will be something the audiences will be looking out for as well!”

Avers The ATG, “musically, the track is a fusion of many different genres from the vocals to the production. His vocals certainly have a gruffness to them but they still possess an air of fun to them. Leslee and Omar’s vocals are certainly distinct, but there is an undeniable synergy. Well, when three friends join in to work in unison for a well-meaning project the determination is apparent.

To begin at the beginning, Binnis Hotel Cinema (BHC) is a promising production house which is producing a web series of 10  episodes for the prestigious Amazon Prime tentatively titled, “Moh Maya” to be directed by well-known Director Sagar Ballary. The movie is being produced by BHC’s Lalit Paikray (who says having been a co-producer of much in the news movie, Udta Punjab has always given him a great feeling professionally), Raj Anand (formerly of UTV) and Sunil Jain starring the very popular Sourabh Shukla, Raghubir Yadav, Rajesh Sharma and Sadhna Singh, among others.

The essence of the movie is to show how the deep inherent “moh” (desire) of the “maya” (illusion) has deprived us from knowing that it is the yearning of “want” is what divides and the fulfillment of “need” is what unites.

Lalit elaborates how through the point of view of two outcastes “the movie explores the intricacies of Indian villages and how they have always been exploited by the system and people in power.”

This series depicts that even the most cunning and shrewd people can change and listen to their hearts if be in an innocent company and environment. “It’s a humorous take on today’s bizarre world where fight over 4G connection in an Indian village actually solves the age-old caste discrimination,” tells Paikray.

Delving a bit into the story, two conmen accidentally find themselves helping the villagers. They enter a village of heartland India with the intention to loot them but find themselves helping the villagers instead to solve the caste discrimination problem.

“It’s an interesting and moving story which unfolds on its own,” say Anand and Jain with a note of high confidence.

Well, well, three men are on the move on the fast lane now and how!

The Programme Of National Convention On Create Health Awareness How to Avoid Covid-19, Amongst Human Beings  was  successfully organised by Progressive  Foundation Of Human Right. Other than the tribals, those who belonged to the poor strata of society  were also taken care of.

Bollywood actor Taapsee Pannu and several international luminaries were commended as lighthouses of hope, vision and resilience during the gloomy world atmosphere of pandemic-hit 2020.
Mumbai, 19th September 2020: These honours occurred at the 36th-Anniversary Global Awards for the Priyadarshni Academy on Saturday, September 19 through a YouTube live event broadcast from Mumbai. The Priyadarshni Academy is a socio-cultural organisation, which hosts these awards to honour luminaries in multiple disciplines every year. This time, they decided to continue in the same vein to serve as a symbol of resilience in the glum atmosphere.
“This is exactly the time to celebrate the iconic, extraordinary individuals who’ve demonstrated vision, action and resilience and like lighthouses in turbulent times, have shown us the way. We need their inspiration more now than ever before. That’s why we’re here, this evening”, said Dr RA Mashelkar, Chairman of the Global Awards Advisory Committee for the Priyadarshni Academy.
Awarded the Smita Patil Memorial Award, Taapsee Pannu was recognised for her commendable acting skills in a body of films like Saand Ki Aankh, Thappad, Mulk, Pink, Manmarziyan, Naam Shabana and Badla. The non-industry actor had established herself in Tamil and Telugu cinema before she turned her sights towards the Hindi film industry.
“Thank you so much for considering me worthy of this honour. I’ve realised the depth of this compliment and the responsibility of being given her name fairly late in life (as I come from a non-film, purely educational background). It’s almost surreal… I don’t think I’m anywhere near her as of now, but I would off-course, like to keep her as my benchmark and make sure that I reach somewhere close”, she said, as she accepted the award virtually from Shri Suresh Prabhu, former union minister and India’s Sherpa to G20.
Apart from Pannu, the Academy also honoured Børge Brende, President of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Jose Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), Sanjiv Mehta, Chairman and Managing Director of HUL, Graça Machel DBE HonFBA, who served as the First Lady for both Mozambique and South Africa and Kamlesh Patel (Daaji), President of the Shri Ram Chandra Mission. 

“We have a galaxy of prominent super achievers who by sheer grit and determination to improve the quality of life, to improve the standards of living globally, have been working relentlessly to achieve these goals”, said Nanik Rupani, Chairman Emeritus of Priyadarshni Academy. Rupani has been associated with the academy for the longest time and has often honoured noted luminaries in the past.
The current pandemic, economic crisis and way forward for India also remained essential notes at the event.
“While this historic crisis comes with a dire economic and social outlook, there are also lessons and opportunities. In the longer term, India must continue investment in health infrastructure and ensure continuity of regular health services; it will also have to cautiously adjust spending and attract industrial investment”, said Berge, during his acceptance address.

“An average Indian believes that an investment in gold passes down generations, more so when a celebrity endorses a company that is offering the said gold scheme. My legal battle is merely a representation of many of the investors of Satyug Gold who might have invested in the gold scheme at a discounted rate, only to never receive the gold,” says actor-entrepreneur Sachiin Joshi, who, after paying Rs. 18,57,870 on March 25, 2014, has been asked by the then Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra promoted Satyug Gold to pay a penalty of Rs. 25,50,000 in order to collect the gold for which an amount of Rs 18,57,870 had already been paid to them six years ago.

“If I am asked to pay Rs 25 lakh to collect Rs 18 lakh gold after six years of my hard-earned money lying with a company, imagine the state of the common man who must have invested believing a celebrity who endorsed a company as its Chairman! I feel defrauded to say the least. And then I realised that I should stand up against what is wrong as I might be the hope for many others.”

The matter is subjudice through arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India. As per the court, Satyug Gold was made to deposit the 1kg of gold with the Prothonotary and Senior Master of the Hon. Bombay High Court, who then took custody of the gold and sealed and secured it in the High Court’s strong-room/vault. As Sachiin Joshi was abroad, his counsel requested that the gold be handed over to his representative.

As the hearing and final disposal of the arbitration proceedings and for was in a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the Award by the parties and / or their Advocates, the Prothonotary and Senior Master shall continue to retain the gold bar weighing 1.022 kg in the safe deposit vault opened / obtained in his name in the Bank of India pursuant to the directions of G.S.Patel, J. dated 7th September, 2020.

Sachiin Joshi has earlier filed a complaint on January 18th of this year in Khar Police Station, Mumbai, under sections 406, 409 and 420 of the IPC for the alleged fraudulent representation and nonreceipt of gold after six years of making the payment to Satyug Gold at the behest of Raj Kundra and Shilpa Shetty who  were then, the office-bearers of the company.

संगीतकार दिलीप सेन ने कहा कि मैंने अनूप जलोटा जी के साथ वैसे तो पहले भी बहुत काम किया है लेकिन पहली बार साधना सरगम और अनूप जलोटा को साथ मेे गवाया है। इन दोनों की मधुर आवाज़ ने इस माता के गीत को एक यादगार गीत बना दिया है।

There is a framed lehenga of mine at home which shows how small I was when I was initiated into dancing,” said kathak guru Padma Shri, Shovana Narayan, while connecting with a cross-section of audience across India through a session of Ek Mulakat presented by Shree Cement and organized by “https://pkfoundation.org/” Foundation.

Shovana was responding to a question from kathak exponent and conversationalist Shinjini Kulkarni of Ehsaas Women – “How did you manage to become a dancer and a bureaucrat?”

Shovana, a woman of stupendous achievements, is a kathak guru, choreographer, former bureaucrat, author and a researcher. Belonging to the guru-shishya parampara (tradition), Shovana believes in expanding the boundaries of kathak through cross-cultural experimentation and innovation in dance styles while rooted to kathak’s ancient Indian tradition.

Prabha Khaitan Foundation showcases India’s rich cultural legacy through various initiatives in India and abroad. Ek Mulakat is an exclusive initiative that allows patrons to rendezvous with legends and stalwarts from various walks of life like Shovana Narayan. It was an honour to host her and we look forward to more such enriching sessions,” said Manisha Jain, Branding & Communication Chief, Prabha Khaitan Foundation.

Shovana Narayan has popularised kathak in international fora by weaving dance and philosophy in her craft. She has successfully choreographed many international collaborative works with kathak and Western classical dance, Flamenco, tap dance, Buddhist chants and so on. In 2003, she choreographed the opening and closing ceremonies of Abilympics. Shovana has won over 37 national and international awards including Padma Shri, Sangeet Natak Akademi award, Japan’s OISCA Award, Bihar Gaurav Award and so on.

Shovana started learning kathak as a child in Calcutta under the tutelage of Sadhana Bose, then she moved on to Bombay and continued under guru Kundanlal ji Sisodia of the Jaipur Gharana and later she moved to Delhi under Pandit Birju Maharaj.

“I will never forget my indebtedness to Guru ji Birju Maharaj who announced my performance prior to his own performance at the Sapru House in Delhi. That was the kind of launching pad I got for my first stage performance,” she said.

Reflecting on her research on kathak, its antiquity, and “kathak villages”, Shovana recounted that about 17 years ago she was in Bodh Gaya for a performance and came to know about villages known as “kathak villages” for the first time from a journalist. “I found two or three such villages and later, along with an IAS colleague of mine, we started on our journey to discover these “kathak villages” and went from village to village, met people and gathered records and official documents and started delving deeper,” she said.

Sharing her findings on how ancient kathak was, Shovana said, “An epigraph from Kameshwar archive in Mithila has been confirmed by epigraphists to date back to the Mauryan period which is BC. The inscription in prakrit and brahmi lipi clearly mentions kathak as devotional dancing and mentions the region around Varanasi.”

“The kathak dance we see today is very different from the kathak community. The sculptures depicting dance forms in today’s standing temples, at best, go back to about a 1000 to 1100 years. So where are the temples and sculptures of the Gupta and Mauryan period which were so rich in architecture and sculptures! We don’t look into the small museums and archives of India which is the haven of information. That is where we have to see and find continuity in the form and stance of the kathak dance,” Shovana  said.

    

“I believed in myself and have never deviated from kathak, I was true to my kathak tradition just like the Western classical dancers were to their’s. So what did we do? We just found commonality in terms of poems, moods and even movements but the emphasis, the field and flow, as in the approach, tenor and flavour is different. I am careful about using the term fusion which means I lose my identity to merge myself into something. No, I keep my identity, so do they, and it is a beautiful collage of patterns and rhythmic dimensions,” she said

Ek Mulakat series of webinars have connected artistes, achievers, cultural aficionados, thinkers and authors with people across India and other continents.

He writes poetry in four languages, pens lyrics in three, is a monster shredder who composes rock to heavy metal to pop to Spanish to mellow romantic numbers to dark music alike. If that isn’t enough, he is a world-acclaimed Tibetan activist, international rock-u-mentary filmmaker and now writer-director Shenpenn Khymsar is rewriting history by making Broken Wings, the first Nepali-Hindi-English film from Darjeeling, 72 years after Indian independence.
“Broken Wings is the first true representation of the Northeast. To an average Indian, Nepali means momos, security guards and a regiment. In an artistic sense, I am asking for inclusion of people from the Northeast.”
It has not been an easy journey for Khymsar. Born in exile, the struggle to find his true self and the want to go back home seems an eternal quest. “Tibet needs to be free,” he says simply. The rebel in Khymsar has always tried to rebuild his broken wings through the medium of cinema. His unconventional effort of combining political filmmaking with entertainment, mirroring the frustration of an entire young generation in the hills of North-Eastern India is evident in both his documentary ‘Journey of a Dream’ and his current feature, Broken Wings.

US State Senator, politician, lawyer and Vice-Presidential running mate Kamala Devi Harris has scripted history by being the first Indian-American or African-American woman to be appointed as the Vice-Presidential running mate.

It is a known fact that Kamala Harris has a huge support base in the Indian-American community. Indian-born Hollywood producer, philanthropist and serial entrepreneur Tel K Ganesan is excited at the power push for the senator as it “sends a message of hope to young girls of colour, and any immigrant, for that matter.”

Ganesan, who met Harris at Detroit, Michigan during her political run for the primary race of the Democratic presidential ticket, avers that Harris is “high energy, positive, upbeat and a bubbly person.” Ganesan had an instant connect with her. “We shared wonderful, happy moments. She is very friendly. It is much like talking to a friendly neighbour.” Both Ganesan and Harris’s mother Shyamala Gopalan hail from Chennai. “We very briefly spoke in Tamil – vanakkam and nandri. We did talk about sambar,” he grins.

Though Harris considers herself black, she has also spoken of her Indian roots. Harris has worked in international development around the world and return to live in villages throughout India in the mid-90s. Her matrilineal family of strong South Indian women has always been her inspiration. Her mother is a Tamilian from Chennai, and had moved to the US for higher studies. Her father is Donald Harris, of Jamaican descent. Ganesan is very proud of Harris’s achievement. “As an immigrant, it is a great inspiration. She already has a track record of breaking barriers. She started off as the first person of color in the office of the district attorney in San Francisco as a tough prosecutor and later as California Attorney General before winning the Senate seat four years ago. Harris is also the first person of Indian descent to ever get on the presidential ticket. Harris amassed more than $35 million over 11 months despite challenges that black women candidates face in raising money.  If the Biden-Harris ticket wins, Harris will be the highest-ranking female US official in the country’s 244-year history. And it is not just that, Biden who would be 78 if he wins, might only serve a single four-year term, instantly making Harris a leading 2024 Democratic Presidential contender. She serves on several high-profile committees in the Senate including the Intelligence Committee and the Judiciary Committee.”

Ganesan believes that such a historic move is only possible in a country like the United States. “Hope fuels life and hope fuels opportunities. This will address the bottom-line issue of under-representation of women and minorities on US public company boards and will match the changing demographics we are experiencing in the country today.”

दूसरी ओर तंजील ने भी आशना हेगड़े के टैलेंट को माना “इस गीत को लिखने, रिहर्सल करने, रिकॉर्ड करने और शूट करने में हमें चार महीने लगे। ये तमाम दिन बहुत रोमांचक रहे हैं क्योंकि मैं यह सब आशना के साथ कर रहा था। वह मेरे सबसे अच्छे दोस्तों में से एक है और इस सांग की मैंने आशना की वजह से कल्पना की थी। उनकी आवाज और मौजूदगी ने गीत के हर पहलू को बेहतर बनाया। वीडियो की शूटिंग के दौरान, आशना और मैंने बहुत मस्ती की। मुझे खुशी है कि उसने अपने सिंगिंग के करियर की शुरुआत के लिए बेफिकर को चुना।”

Mumbai, 2nd September, 2020:As India marks its sixth month of living with the coronavirus pandemic, the situation continues to deteriorate. Millions across the nation have been left in dire straits, reeling under the spectre of unemployment and unable to provide for themselves and their families. These trying times desperately call for a hero. And for lakhs of individuals across Maharashtra, that call has been answered by philanthropist and businessman Mauris Noronha.

A resident of Borivali’s I.C. Colony, Mauris is a professional poker player who has dedicated himself to the task of caring for society’s most vulnerable segments. From the time the lockdown began, this generous soul has provided essential supplies and provisions to lakhs of needy families in Mumbai and across Maharashtra. Traveling across the city and its adjoining regions, Mauris has made it his mission to reach out to as many in need as possible.

This determination to help society first took root in his own backyard. When news of the upcoming lockdown was first announced in March, Mauris advised the members of his housing society to maintain a strict quarantine and took it upon himself to supply over 120 families in their own compound. Aware of the ease with which the coronavirus spread and the danger it posed, especially to the elderly and the young, he was determined to keep his neighborhood safe.

As the impact of the lockdown on society’s weakest sections became apparent in the coming weeks, Mauris refused to stand by idly. With a team of likeminded volunteers, he initiated a door-to-door campaign in the worst hit slums of Mumbai. Initially focused on Borivali and Dahisar, Mauris and his team personally visited zero-income families in these areas with daily and weekly deliveries of food supplies. By, this initiative had provided vital rations to 5 lakhs of individuals across an approximate of 40,000 households.

But his generosity didn’t stop there. Drawing solely from his own earnings Mauris has since expanded his outreach efforts to every corner of Mumbai, from Cuffe Parade to Virar, and stretching as far north in Palghar. In addition, he has distributed supplies in areas of Ahmednagar, Shirdi, Pune and Nasik and the surrounding districts of Maharashtra. Working tirelessly throughout the day, Mauris has also begun to extend his aid in other ways. He has begun to distribute vital medical supplies and protective equipment to ambulance staffers and auto-rickshaw drivers in the region, and helped stranded migrants from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar navigate the bureaucratic requirements necessary to return to their homes. Furthermore, he has extended his support and generosity to numerous stranded migrants, handicapped groups, trans-genders, school teachers, ambulance personnel, police staff, BEST drivers, press reporters, fishing workers and villagers, auto-rickshaw drivers, security personnel, senior citizens, and bar girls, etc and many more people have received support from Mauris.

  

This marks the sixth month of his ongoing crusade to aid those in need. In this timeframe, Mauris has singlehandedly provided over an immeasurable number of life-saving supplies to tens of thousands of individuals. Through his selfless efforts and without taking any donations from anybody be it in any form, Mauris has proved himself to be the hero our nation so desperately needs, serving as a shining example of all that is good about the human spirit.

Well, I have a keen interest in interior designing . I operate pan India . I think God has been kind to get me the big clients from almost all the cities and gave me the privilege of being one of the most demanded designers . I started with Mumbai and now operate successfully in other cities as well.

 Could you please name some sectors you have worked with from your clientele . Our readers would love to know .

I have designed the houses of celebrities , famous hotels and lounges of Mumbai and other cities like Pune, Ahemdabad, Surat,Indore, Nagpur, Igatpuri, Delhi etc.

 We have heard that you are the owner of some prestigious awards.  Please throw some light on that

I hold the award from book of London for my best interior work in India and Aajtak award for best interior for known corporate brand.

 Perfect . We also know that apart from being a well qualified and adept in your designing, you are in love with Bollywood . How true is our research ?

I always had a charm of bollywood industry . I am  passionate about acting and got opportunities to pursue it .

 Do you have any upcoming projects in future ?

So, I have 4 new projects in my bag at present , for which I am taking the training in Martial Arts and transforming my body for the raw agent which is the demand for one of my projects. I am  playing the role of a girl next door in other three upcoming projects .

 If we ask you what aim do you live with and want to cherish , what would it be ?

My aim is to get settled in my interior designing work as well as dream for the bollywood screen awards and wish that my work is appreciated in the bollywood the same way as by God’s grace I am highly demanded in my designing buisness .

Former President of India Pranab Mukherjee Passes Away at Delhi

Former president Pranab Mukherjee, who had recently undergone a surgery for removal of a clot in his brain, passed away on August 31. He was 84. Prior to the surgery, the Mukherjee had also tested positive for COVID-19. Mukherjee’s son, Abhijit, informed about the development in a tweet.

An `invisible hand’ guided my destiny, says Lord Bhikhu Parekh

 29 August 2020, Kolkata: Leading political theorist, academic and life peer, Lord Bhikhu Parekh, shared his life experiences and views from London at a lively online session of Ek Mulakat organized by Prabha Khaitan Foundation. Lord Parekh responded to questions pertaining to women empowerment, Sanskrit, the English education system in India, immigration, parental love, and so on in conversation with Lady Mohini Kent Noon at the session attended by a global audience.

Lord Bhikhu Chotalal Parekh had an illustrious career as an academician and thinker. He got his PhD from the London School of Economics (LSE) and pioneered the concept of multiculturalism and harmony in Britain. He is the recipient of Padma Bhushan and also won the Global Thinker Award – Sir Isaiah Berlin Prize among many others.

Born in Amalsad, Gujarat, in 1935, Bhikhu was expected to join his family profession as a goldsmith. “My school head master influenced me to join college. At St Xavier’s College, Mumbai, I met a fascinating professor who encouraged me to do my Master’s and I joined the University of Bombay. There I met Prof Usha Mehta who guided me to go to the UK and I ended up at the London School of Economics. Again, an invisible hand in the shape of Prof Michael Oakeshott, one of the greatest philosophers of 20thCentury, who, for some reason, took an interest in me, helped me and the rest  is history,” Lord Bhikhu Parekh said.

“There are four important turning points in my life and at each of these some individuals came along and helped me. True to my past, I have dedicated my life to help young people navigate their lives in a way I have navigated mine,” he said.

“Prabha Khaitan Foundation’s initiatives have brought together great minds and talents. Lord Bhikhu Parekh is an erudite personality, whose life and works inspire all our viewers. We have many more such enlightening sessions lined up for the future,” Manisha Jain, Branding & Communication Chief, Prabha Khaitan Foundation.

Referring to the topic of gender equality in India, Lord Parekh said, “We must remember that the woman as a mother has rights which woman as a daughter and wife don’t have. Mahatma Gandhi was first to bring the largest number of women in public life by appealing to their motherly nursing instinct. Equality of women, in all spheres of life, is slowly happening in India.”

As a youth he had an inner impulse to make some sense of the world around him and refused to be a conformist, challenging some of the traditions and customs. Recounting his childhood memories, Lord Parekh said, “Once a so-called `untouchable’ woman touched me and my mother screamed at me to go an have a shower. I could not understand – Why should my mother’s touch be OK and this woman’s touch required a shower? I could gather courage to stand up against such questions because I could count on my parents’ love. Love gave me the courage to stand up.”

Lord Parekh shared another childhood anecdote that had a deep impact on him. “Once a woman came to my father and handed over her bangle and asked for Rs 400. My father said it was worth Rs 200. The woman insisted she be given at least Rs 300. My father threw the bangle at her and went inside for his afternoon siesta. The woman said to me, I have a son like you who is ill and I cannot pay the doctor’s fee without the money. I went and woke up my father. As she got the money she held my hand and said `May God bless and you have a good future’. Since then, my life’s work has been on equality. The ideas of equality and inequality were planted in me.”

  

Referring to the overwhelming influence of English among the Indian elites, Lord Parekh said, “The relation between India and Bharat is a very complex one. Even today, when you talk about Bharat, you are talking about a 3000-year-old land. Our consciousness is out of pace with the language. My feeling is that I would have loved India to go for a single language like the Israelis did with Hebrew.”

CHEATING CASE Submitted AGAINST TATA MOTORS DEOGIRI AUTO Jogeshwari Mumbai

A police case of  Cheating, Fraud and Threatening has been submited by a Mumbai resident against TATA MOTORS, DEOGIRI AUTO,  at Commissioner of Police Mumbai.

Raj C. Anand, a resident of Mumbai have mentioned the entire sequence in his complaint, where he informed about the advance payment made to the Car dealer in march 2020 but because of loan refusal, Dealer advised to take another model of a car.

Eventually, ugly turn of events unfolded and dealer refused to return advance payment made by the complainant.

Complainant has provided all proofs and supportive of the payment along with the complaint to the POLICE.  In his complaint, he mentioned that How the dealer staff kept on making him run from post to pillar to get a satisfactory reply but all resulted in just frustration.

He added that the Dealer’s staff even started threatening Raj anand with dire circumstances for asking the entire Payment made by the complainant.

Police has been requested to file case against Ms Jayanti and Mr Patil under Section 420,415,503,34 and other relevant section and take necessary action and resolved the same at earliest for this.
