Mumbaiites, Say No To Surge Price With App-Based S3 Cabs

Brand new app-based ‘S3’ cabs are ready to hit city roads from today.

Chief minister Devendra Fadanvis will launch the service, that will join more than 50,000 tourist cabs being operated as app-based taxis in Mumbai. The new taxi aggregator, Sahyadri Smart Safe Cabs or S3, claims that their cabs will be free of surge pricing, a system in which cab fares shoot up with demand. They will also charge drivers lesser facility charges than other aggregators.  

“There will be neither surge nor night charges. Our cabs can be booked at a fare of ₹10 -₹12 /km, which is lesser than other aggregators,” said Prafulla Shinde, founder-director of S3.

Around 800 tourist cab drivers have registered on their platform and 4,000 other applications are being processed, said Shinde. S3 claimed they are going to charge 3% towards facility charges from drivers on a daily earning of up to ₹1,500 to ₹2,000 and 10% on any amount above it, as opposed to 20-25% charged by others. Ola and Uber have been primarily providing app-based taxis since 2014. Despite the new Maharashtra City Taxi Rules 2017 regulating surge pricing, lack of implementation has left consumers unhappy. Shinde claimed that S3 will follow the new rules. “We have set up a call center. Complaints can be made via mail, WhatsApp, and on the helpline number. Drivers can also be rated,” he said. The app is available on Android and IOS platforms. S3 also developed a service app for restaurants, hotels, bars, etc, who can use it to book cabs for their customers.

Shinde said S3 also plans to launch a parcel service in July and they are already in talks with two online shopping companies

वे इन दिनों बालाजी और महेश पांडे प्रोडक्शन की बहुचर्चित वेब सीरीज हीरो वर्दीवाला की शूटिंग में व्यस्त हैं लेकिन मातृ दिवस पर वे निर्देशक महेश पांडे से आग्रह कर अपने गांव पहुचे । निरहुआ ने बताया कि माँ के कदमो में ही जन्नत है और वे हर कदम पर अपनी माँ के आशीर्वाद से ही आगे बढ़े हैं । उन्होंने आगे बताया कि आगामी 3 महीनों में उनके होम प्रोडक्शन की तीन फिल्मे बॉर्डर , घूंघट में घोटाला और निरहुआ हिंदुस्तानी 3 रिलीज हो रही है । माँ से उन्हें तीनो फिल्मो की सफलता का आशीर्वाद मिला ।

While talking about her mother, Srishti said, “My mom is the best mother in the world. More than a mother, she is like a friend to me. She has always been there, whenever I felt low and weak. She has been my biggest strength. Whatever I have achieved till now, it’s all because of my mom.”
At the event, Srishti also talked about her fashion brand “Eliferous”, which promotes Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Make in India campaign. Later in the day, a number of mothers and daughters shared their heartfelt stories of love and affection, which set the tone for a wonderful gathering filled with joy and care of motherhood.
Taiwanese ambassador’s wife Mrs Jenin really got moved by Srishti’s kind words for her mother. She said Srishti’s speech made her nostalgic about her childhood and she indeed missed her mother a lot at the event. Whereas organisers, Shilpi Raina Wahal and Aabha Dalmiya got teary eyes after Srishti’s emotional speech.

इस साल ईद पर भोजपुरिया बॉक्स ऑफिस पर दस्तक दे रही जुबली स्टार निरहुआ की मल्टी स्टारर फ़िल्म बॉर्डर का फर्स्ट लुक जारी कर दिया गया है । फर्स्ट लुक के जारी होते ही इसे भोजपुरिया दर्शको ने हाथों हाथ उठा लिया और वे जम कर इसे लाइक कमेंट और शेयर कर रहे हैं । अपने अधिकृत फेसबुक पेज पर निरहुआ ने इस पोस्टर को जारी करते हुए लिखा है – किसान का बेटा हैं

अगर कोई हमारी जमीन की तरफ आंख भी उठाए तो जमीन के साथ उसका जिगर भी जोत देते हैं । निरहुआ के इस डायलॉग पर भी दर्शको की बहुत प्रतिक्रिया आ रही है । निर्माता प्रवेश लाल यादव ने बताया कि पहले बॉर्डर के टाइटल टीजर और फिर फर्स्ट लुक के रिलीज होते ही फ़िल्म को लेकर दर्शको की उत्सुकता बढ़ गई है । दर्शक फ़िल्म को लेकर तरह तरह के सवाल पूछ रहे हैं ।

Fairmont Infrastructure LLP has undertaken the task of redevelopment of Veer Jijamata Nagar and its surrounding spread over 17.25 acres in Worli under the SRA Development Scheme.
Abdul Razzak Chunawala, Sameer Chunawala, Farook Chunawala, Aarif Chunawala and Shubhdeep Kar are promoters of Fairmont.
Earlier, Veer Jijamata Nagar residents were promised new houses after witnessing no progress since over a decade.
